Cinematic Assignment - Planning

Me and my teammate Sean have chosen the first task to base our cinematic sequence around but insead we have decided to depict a pair of robots running away from attacking soldiers. We had a meeting today and so far we have planned roughly how the sequence will play out. I will be creating a rough layout of the level and Sean will add more detail to the storyboard and then we will start filming in level.

Presentation

The presentation went reasonable well. The group was fairly relaxed leading up to it even though I turned up slightly late to the lesson. During my slide of the presentation I muddled a few words up but nothing major, in the future it would be a good idea to reherse what I'm going to say a bit more to avoid it happening again. I think everyone else in the group did a great job with presenting the aspects of machinima though the red vs blue video may have been a bit too long to show the progression of machinima in the halo series.

I have enjoyed this assignment and learning about machinima but it did feel a bit early in the year to do a presentation.

Machinima Assignment

This assignment required our team to research the topic machinima. My role in the group was to write about the definition of machinima which I felt pretty comfortable with as I already have some knowledge about machinima from watching videos from the red vs blue series and garry's mod videos.

The group has been fairly relaxed so far, when we started we just divided the work up so everyone has their own thing to focus on so we've just let eachother get on with it. I am slightly nervous for the presentation as Im not a great speaker and past presentation experiences havn't exactly been great but I suppose I just need a bit of confidence in myself.
